TO BE BRIEF, MY CATS BOOTY SMELLS

So, the past two days my kitty's butt has smelled so stinky lol. I didn't know how to word this any other wa . But it smells like sour. I've been trying to wipe it with those cat wipes. Anything that could be causing the smell? She did just fully transition to a new food but she's transitioned before and it's never smelled. All seriousness in this post, even if its kind of ridiculous! Thank you!

Aw, poor thing and poor you! I think you should take her to the vet. I suspect that her anal glands are impacted.

I was thinking anal glands too. A vet once told me it's not very common in cats as it is in dogs but it can happen. Get kitty checked out.

Probably the anal glands. You can express the glands yourself but have the vet check the glands out first to be sure that they are not impacted or infected. If they're just full, the vet can show you how to express them at home. The secretions are horrbly stinky so wear old clothes when you attempt to express the glands and do it in the bathroom where you can easily clean up any mess.
