Abscess Surgery :(

Soo my baby neenee has an abscess. Took her to the vet today and she had a fever. They shaved the hair on her front left leg and there we could see 2 cat bites!!!! She will be operated on today at noon. So sad to see her like tht. Could not help but cry when they took her away [emoji]128563[/emoji][emoji]128546[/emoji]. Can anyone tell me how the healing process is after surgery for an abscess. I'm scared and worried.

She will have a cone to keep her from licking.  You'll probably get an antibiotic and you'll have to keep her inside to be sure that everything heals nicely.

Got my Neenee back. Turns out she had ro get 2 drains, b/c she had 3 bites! No more putside for her She has a cone on and is jst so sad. But the swollen leg is gone. Now we wait until thursday to take out the drains. Hate seeing her like this. We confined her to just our bathroom. B/ every other room has alot of rhings that she loves climbing on.
