Nikolai was diagnosed with an inflamed bladder, the breeder I got him from fed her cats California Naturals dry food, so I did too. then I managed to wean him off it, & started feeding him Soulistic Good Karma canned food, but he stopped eating it, and would only lick the gravy off it after a couple months.

So I started feeding him Nature's Variety Instinct grain free chicken meal formula dry food, which he took to right away, this is supposedly a healthy cat food, but now my little buddy has bladder issues, so I don't know.

The Vet wants me to get him back on wet food, he's a finicky eater, won't touch wellness, weruva, blue buffalo, yet he'll eat a little bit of fancy feast(like maybe a table spoon-then walk away) any suggestions for lower priced quality foods?  I can't buy a case until I find something I know he will eat, any suggestions?

A lot of cats like Nutro, and it comes in a lot of flavors. Merrick also has a lot of flavors that seem to be favorites. Some Friskie Classic Pate flavors are OK. Iams has grain-free options.

Ideally you should cut the dry back to very little to try and entice him to eat more wet. What tends to happen is cats hold out for the kibble and then don't want the wet food.

Nutro is a good suggestion

I also like Merrick LID both the chicken and turkey

Tiki cat

Have you tried the weruva BFF ones? Some of them contain fish, but they are very enticing so you might have luck with those and you could mix them with something that doesn't contain fish. My cats love the ones that one in the pouches they're basically gravy so you can put them on top of pate foods.

I had one cat who was picky about the wet food and would just nibble a little and walk away. After I completely eliminated all dry food from the house, he's improved considerably.

I have a multi cat household and foster, so I try to find the foods that are healthy, while being economical. The bulk of what my residents eat comes from Tractor Supply Company. I love their store brand (4Health brand) grain free canned food. It's very affordable and my kitties love it!

Unfortunately there.s no Tractor supply store near, just Petco, Petsmart, Petopia, & Petland, I think I'll completely cut him off the dry, like you did, maybe he'll come around, thanks
