Sometimes after eating (grain free canned) my cat closes one eye, ears go flat and she acts like she is going to throw up but doesn't, is that a food alergy or eating too fast?

My gut reaction is eating too fast. Sometime my cat will do this, and also throw up too. It's usually when they haven't been fed for long like overnight and they've waited longer than usual.

Does he have any other signs that make you think allergy?

Not really, it was Soulistic chicken dinner, no fish, no grain, no carageenan. It does have gums. She did throw up the first time in months, the other day, but the next day the hairball came up and nothing since. I rotate her foods, so I wonder? I will watch next time I feed this food to see what happens! It is new in our rotation. I did get up late due to time change and she did eat very fast. The one eye closed with belching was so Wierd.

One day was chicken, one day quail, one day was turkey and liver and then rabbit with pork. I wonder if it's the litter, my old dad bought light weight litter. He has also been sneaking her 98% instinct chicken kibble (supposed to be treat only) I will cut that off first then change litter back, she was a vomiter in the past until dry cut off. Time to furminate also with change in season, hope it's nothing serious, I will keep an eye on her. She is also an escape artist so she gets revolution drops
