Is it safe to crush up a 500 mg tablet from Spring Valley & mix in with my cats food.  The bottle says to be taken by adults.

Is there a difference between the L-Lysine for humans and L-Lysine for Cats??

It looks like that pill has cellulose in it? Which is not ideal for cats because they can't digest it, and it might bulk up stool a bit. It might be fine once in a while but you probably don't want to give it every day. Any human supplement that's just l-lysine with nothing else added is the same as the cat version, though. It's often sold as a powder.
