Hey everyone, I wanted to share this petition! For anyone who has a pet that diet is important like I do, this is a game changer. We are a little behind on signatures, but I believe it can happen with how many diseases poor animals are getting because of or that could be managed with food. Here is the link to the petition : http://wh.gov/iGBLH , please share this with everyone and give them the chance to sign as well.

This is a great cause, I signed one going around facebook.

Unfortunately it would never pass through legislation, not soon anyway.  You can trace back most pet food company's and find they are owned by big Pharmaceutical Companies, Pfizer, Lily, Norvatis, Johnson & Johnson, Proctor & Gamble etc.  follow the family tree, their all connected.

These companies make over 10 to 28 billion dollars a year on pet sales.  Nestle Purina and Mars alone made over 11 billion on pet foods/products alone.  Zoetis, Inc made over 2billion on pet meds they are owned by Pfizer.

Pfizer and the other said pharma companies, are worth over 200 billion dollars.

Bad ingredients in pet foods + Vet Visits + Pet Meds + Pet Insurance = very very very rich corporations.

Pharma owns Washington D.C.  Bottom line.

BUT, should still be signed, maybe someone will hear.

Anyone who has researched pet food labeling knows that the Guaranteed Analysis currently presented on pet foods is practically worthless in determining the details of protein, fat and carb percentages accurately. I found this petition late in the process, or I would have posted it sooner.  They only have until end of March to reach some 99,000 sigs. However, this is a large cat site -- please sign and share on your FB page and encourage others to do the same! Let's try to get there!!!
