Does she wear a collar most of the time? Was it maybe too tight? Did it maybe get wet?

She had a collar for like a week but it was bothering her so I took out off and now she has a rash.

It looks like the collar rubbed her. If not, it's likely a dermatitis "hotspot." She may need to see the vet for a topical creme. Does she scratch at it? You should call your vet and send the pictures.

I noticed it tonight, she doesn't touch it. She won't let me touch it though and gets very annoyed when I touch her head. I only got the pics by distacting her with a toy.

I feel like a terrible cat mom right now!

Was it a flea collar or just a regular collar? Because flea collars can sometimes cause skin irritation and hair loss.

Is it an emergency vet call our can it wait until morning?

Is midnight here and will cost me the equivalent of $100 to see him now. But like $30 to see him tomorrow.

It was a regular collar. I just got it for her since she got out to have my number in case she got out again.

Thank you!

I would not have been able to sleep all night if it wasn't for all of you! I'll speak to my vet in the am. (He's such a non alarmist that I know what he's going to say already "if it's not bothering her than she's fine")

I too think you can wait into tomorrow.

But I must comment, this emergency  vet isnt that costly as most are.

No, he's one of the cheaper vets as this is his side job.

The clinic charges double that for after hours visits.

Also, here $100 is a LOT of money.

Just like I thought, vet said she's fine. If it's not bothering her than it's not a reason for concern.

in other news, can you see her growing baby bump? It's so much more noticeable face to face and she moves too much for a good pic. But it's there and hard to miss!

That's good news! Then it should heal on its own. [emoji]128522[/emoji]

I'm convinced that she's father along than I think!

I've noticed the pinking in her nipples for a week now and today they're bright pink!

I noticed a belly on her at the end of last week and even though it's not so easy to see in the pics, it's there!

Her appetite increased from the moment that I believe she mated. And I've noticed that she's eating smaller meals more often now.

But she got out on Feb 16th and I know she was with tuxedo Tom that day and the next day, her heat ended.

She seriously has me scratching my head!

Can I give Sophie canned tuna?

She's in a free feed of a mix between her adult dry food and kitten dry food. And I got her wet kitten food but it's sooo expensive here that I want to alternate between the tuna and wet kitten food if I can.

Yes, I give my cats tuna, just VERY small amounts. It should be given in moderation, or as a treat on occasion. It's a very great source of protein, however too much human-grade tuna isn't healthy, and it's pretty rich and can cause diarrhea or an upset stomach.
Traces of mercury are very high in tuna than in other fish, so there is a risk of mercury poising. Tuna is also high in unsaturated fats. While that's okay for humans (as intended for), too much can be bad for cats and consuming too much can cause your cat to develop a vitamin E deficiency, and it could potentially lead to Steatitis or "yellow fat disease" causing inflammation of the fatty tissue.

Just don't get her too attached to it, or it will be all she eats, and she won't even touch kibble anymore. If she's never had it before, she may have very soft stools as her body has been introduced to something new in her diet. Cats and dogs have very sensitive stomachs so any change to her diet won't go unnoticed.

Good luck with your expecting mama!

Canned tuna is very high in salt. I wouldn't recommend giving her much, unless you can get salt-free tuna. But that's expensive. Cheap tuna-flavored cat food would be better, and cheaper than human-grade tuna anyway.

You can bake up some chicken (no salt or other seasonings) for her, too.

Thank you! I can get her sardines. I can also get the cheap wet food but for anything with substance is over $2 a pouch!
