so uh, haha... it looks like the kitten i've been bottle feeding is a lil disproportionately fatter than the others.

the lil white one on top. does he look a lil wide compared to the others to you guys?

gonna see if i can't get the others to catch up in the weight department...

Congrats on the kittens! It is really important, with so many in the litter, to weigh them every day as it is so easy to miss one that is not feeding properly. So I would make a scale a priority.

hey guys! it's been a tough few days. once or twice a kitten would get low blood sugar ( i can assume) and get lethargic. i've been keeping homemade pedialyte nearby and it continues to perk them back up. tonight was rough for the one that looks like a woolly worm; she stopped eating and started being lethargic. she really didn't want to be bottlefed so i had to keep pushing her to drink. finally she suckled on her mom for a few minutes before falling asleep. i'm going to stay up for a while and feed her and hope she gets back to normal. wish me luck guys.

How is she today? Good that you took charge and are supplementing with pedialyte!

Thank you guys! Sure enough the pedialyte kicked in. She's been nursing off and on all morning, thankfully. I think it's just a big litter for Princess to handle!

also, funny note: i made a lil cat tree/house out of boxes a few days ago, and Princess keeps trying to move them all to the house.

Aww! That's sweet. I'm glad the kitten is better now. Are you supplementing any of them still?

i am! but a few of them HATE the bottle.. and i don't want to get milk in their lil lungs, so i've just been supplementing the ones that don't mind and just trying to get the ones that do in on mama first. i guess that's where they keep falling through the cracks. :(
