I don't use any of those.

My sister introduced me to Whatsapp - nice way to message without getting zapped with texting charges.   

I don't use any of those. I get free texting and phone calls with my plan.

I have no idea what any of those are LOL

Are they chat apps?

I've heard of google hangout. I think it's kind of like a group video chat but I really don't know. I've never used it. I use the unlimited text that comes with the phone plan. 

Have hangouts on my phone but don't use it - usually just stick with Facebook messenger or text for that kind of communication  

No idea what any of these are. Showing my age, I guess?

I've never heard of any of those either. 

i mostly use emails and PM's (on forums). i actually use my phone (landline) rarely -- just to call my mom each week.

Emails, Yahoo Messanger, texts, phone calls. I am not technologically savvy to know what any of those are or how to use them.

I have heard of Whatsapp but never used it. I wasn't sure what any of the others were until someone mentioned the Google part of Hangouts. Then I still didn't know what the other two were :lol3:

I use emails, text, and private messaging mainly (on here and on FB). And now it's mainly texts and PMs. Work has killed email and IMs for me, having to use those CONSTANTLY just makes it annoying to use outside of work. There's also the good ol' phone (the kind where you actually speak and listen!) which work has also ruined for me, so I don't do that nearly as often these days.

If possible, I definitely prefer to talk in person, face-to-face.
