Expedited deliver here is still about 3-4 business days so I probably would not see it until Tuesday. We are giving it about 2 ml every 2 hours but the syringe we have is what they had at the pharmacy maybe a bit big for it about .5 ml ends up on the floor. I think the goats milk is probably the best immediate solution so I will try that. The Kitten is crawling on and off the water bottle to regulate its heat and has stopped crying completely, I am not sure if that second part is a good or bad sign but it basically sleeps until we wake it up to feed it again.

Unfortunately it didn't make it despite our best efforts, I am convinced the issue with the furnace was the reason it failed as it stressed Midnight out far to much ( the furnace guy asked us to leave the house while he tested the new furnace for leaks midnight was going nuts so I assume there was one and it was fixed) thus undoing and eventually reversing much of our efforts.

Despite this it has given us the opportunity to prepare in the event there is any future issues since most of the supplies we need take far longer than I originally suspected to get here, the life of this little guy may well save another kittens life down the road as we will be prepared and supplied for it now.

In addition the relationship with my girlfriend has improved, it was rocky at the time but this gave us something to work together on and we were both upset it didn't make it but it brought us closer.

Thanks for the support and advice there is just one thing I wish I could change and that would be that it was a happy ending for our little fighter.

I'm so sorry to hear about the little guy.

Do you plan to have Midnight spayed?  Do you have any reason to believe she is still pregnant?

She is huge and started looking for an area to nest in again so I would imagine in a few more days we will see the rest. I certainly plan on having her spayed this litter was a bit of a surprise.

Oh, goodness! I thought he was doing well. It can happen so fast, and I am sorry that you lost the kitten despite your best efforts. Hopefully, Midnight has calmed down. Please let us know when she delivers more kittens.

So sorry to hear the kitten didn't make it.  Since Midnight has more kittens to deliver, possibly, is your furnace up and running again?

Aw, I am so sorry the little guy didn't pull through.  You did so much for him - the furnace problem just came at a very bad time.

RIP little guy

Good news about the furnace, and yes, we will be waiting to hear how the delivery goes for the rest of the kittens.
Fingers crossed, all goes beautifully this time.

Rest you gentle, little one, dream you deep.  Each and every life matters, yours no less than any.

Do keep us posted about the rest of the litter.  And...thank you for trying so hard.

Midnight had 4 healthy Kittens, she seems to be the perfect mother to these 4 I have not seen her leave their side except to eat and drink since they were born a few hours ago.

Aw, look at those precious bundles!
Some interesting genetics at work there!  They're beautiful.
