You can add the items to your Amazon wish list by copy and pasting the web address from the other sites into the box ( it looks like a search box) right under where it says wish list.  Then just  click add to wish list.  This should then allow your address to show.

The first link you provided comes up blank.  I think you need to share your Amazon wish list link.  I know it can all be very confusing.

Mr. Whiskers,

I so agree it is so sad that there are so many who think it is okay to hate cats.

Cats even serve a purpose when they are in the wild.

One lady who passed by my house the other day while I was starting to feed (the cats usually come out at feeding time so there were a number around), asked if I had any problems with mice or gophers?

Ah, no, Neither. A mouse or a gopher would have to be on a suicide mission to come near my property!

However, the room I am working on to rent (to pay for cat food) had a mouse in it. Obviously, one who one of the cats brought inside and let loose.

My very most special feral rescue cat, Coal, always wants to be where I am even if I am painting.

When I finish painting, he wants to stay in there and sleep.

It has now been 2 weeks that he has spent most of his days in their and he has YET TO  CATCH THE MOUSE!!

I don't know if he is making friends with it, or what!! But, I wish he would do his job!

Anyway, you would think the cat haters might have, at minimum, a respect for the job they do.

I happen to love dogs and have had them in the past, but a dog can't do what a cat can do.

I also happen to think that Pit Bulls are a danger to humans.

Something has happened to the overall breading of them.

I think anyone who decides to have one as a pet might just as well leave a loaded gun lying around in their house.

When I was younger I remember German Shepards had a very bad reputation.

They, too, like Pit Bulls today were being bred as Protectors and the German Shepards became dangerous.

It took years for them to get back to being a family pet because of that.

I hope the day will come soon when people stop with the whole Pit Bull routine until the breed can get cleaned up.

I will now step down off of my band wagon!

Shadows Rescue,

I love your comment about "Elder Abuse"...it actually was when you think about it.

At one point the lady from hell said: "if you were my mother I would advise you the same way I am advising you now".

I so wanted to say to her: Thank heaven above you are not my mother! Can you imagine a daughter saying that to a mother who would give her life to protect her colony?

Incredible!

I actually like dogs, but yet I prefer cats and always have.  I just don't "get" dogs I guess and I'm not even sure how to pet them.  They don't purr, so how do you know you are petting them right?

Regardless how I feel about dogs, that didn't stop me from reporting a family to AC when I saw one abused!  And it never will.  I sure wish they'd screen people who work for the SPCA a little more carefully, but it's like someone said it just depends on who is in charge of the place.  And if they don't like cats then cats get the shaft as long as they are in charge.  That's really a shame in it truly bothers me.

Shadows Rescue,

I only put the other sites in there in case someone preferred to use them. Some of them had cheaper costs depending on shipping.

Would it be easier to just use Amazon wish list since they have the 4 items I use?

You can still add them to your Amazon wish list and it will provide an address that way.  All you need to do is provide the link and it will still work from Amazon I believe.  If not you could private message individuals your address.  Just don't post it here for the world to see.

You also could make it open to the public and make it under The Feral Cat Sanctuary and we could just search for you there.  I tried searching and nothing came up.

The rescue from which I adopted four of my cats--there's a blog (lots of pictures and stories about the cats and other animals) and a wish list through Amazon.

When purchasing from the wish list, her address is "confidential", so it doesn't show to all and sundry, but I know that she gets everything I've purchased through the list (I give gifts in honor of the Gotcha Days for the cats I adopted from there).  I know she goes through several different dry foods and canned foods (as well as large and small bags of litter--sometimes there's free shipping for one and not the other), paper towels, laundry detergent, and other items like Feliway, Viralys, and Fortiflora, and sometimes other specialized things when she has a kitty with a particular need), and there are some items that are Amazon Prime only which she's included because some of her blog followers have stated that they do have Amazon Prime.

I think what Amazon has going for it is the variety, as well as being well-known and having an easy way to hide your address and yet let people send things from the list.  I don't know if the others would set up similar style wish lists, if you talked to chewy.com or the like?

Well, I have spent hours trying to get the wish list on Amazon  to work, but no luck.

I am computer illiterate.

So, I think it is best for me to Private Message those of you who have asked for it.

And if anyone wants the information, if you will Private Message me, I will send you the information.

Sorry, I shouldn't be allowed near a computer!

I sent you a PM. I will place an order from Chewy for you if you PM me your information. They have a better selection of Friskies than Amazon does

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for your post.

No, I am not close to either of them.

I did send an email Cats on the Kings a while ago. I have not heard back from them, but I am sure the lady who owns it is really busy all the time.

I don't know much about the other one.

How kind of you to read about what happened.

I glanced just for a moment at your posts...you have been very active with your feral cats.

I hope you are loving what you are doing.

It is always difficult, but frankly, the cats give back so much more than I give to them.

Hope you feel that way too.

Sally

Hi Everyone,

Since so many of you have asked, I do have a GoFundMe website.

The Link to it is located above and below.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that the links work.

As most of you know, I have had a terrible time creating links.!

Thank you for your interest and support!

Sally

I received much help from Alley Cat Allies when I started my TNR program here in my community. As many have noted, there are other organizations sympathetic to ferals but I have to sadly say PETA is not one of them. I was a member in the past but their position on TNR is at odds with my way of thinking.

Just google PETA and ferals to get some info.

Here are some links:

http://www.peta.org/?s=tnr

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/02/05/pets-shelter-euthanization-rate_n_6612490.html

Good luck with your endeavor and by the way, thanks for your responses to my newest problem with my ferals.

Karen

PS: I understand your struggles. Before I started this program I was able to get away from the harsh Pocono winters for awhile but now use my vacation money for cat food. I was getting some pension money from my former husband but that stopped when he passed away. I went back to work for a year to fund vet bills but had to retire again at almost 70, just can't stay on my feet too long.

We do what we can with what we have, right?

Yes, Karen, we do.

I have applied for a job at my local Walmart to help with feeding costs.

I am feeling hopeful it might happen after a couple of quick interviews.

And the room in my house I am going to rent is almost done.

I would never do either of these things if it weren't for the cats.

But I made a commitment to myself, that if I started caring for these cats I would not stop unless I died.

They are so dependent on my care, but I am responsible for that.

I have taught them to depend on me and I would never betray that trust, not ever.

This has been my best work in life. There have been so many days when I wish I could do more,

but at the end of each day, I know I have done the very best I can.

And wow, it is so much easier than a husband!!

Sally, it was amazing meeting you today.  I so enjoyed the talk and sure got a better idea about all you're doing for these kitties.  This is a very lucky group of cats to have someone as dedicated as you taking care of them.  I look forward to meeting up again and coming out to meet the kids.

Hi Betsy,

It was so much fun to meet you.

Having a real person to talk about cats with was such a treat.

I know you understand, as probably lots of people on this site do, that having someone to talk "cats" with is so great.

The eye-ball-rolling that I experience with friends is so understandable that now I even start a cat conversation by telling them they can plug their ears if the need, cause I need to "cat" talk.

And, as I said today, I have made a commitment to myself to stay in touch with this site because I think it is such a help. And probably important for my sanity!

The good news is that when I got home this evening the little cat I was worried about, "Charlie", was home safe and sound. Whew! Hearing that there is a Coyote wandering around again in our neighborhood made panic set in immediately.

I hope we can find a way for you to come out some day and, at least, see where the colony lives. If we do it around a feeding time, you might even get to see some of the colony. We have a little restaurant just a block down from me that has pretty good breakfasts. Maybe you and your husband could do a breakfast trip and then see the colony?

I have sent you a PM, but thank you for meeting with me. It really was such a treat for me. And I enjoyed our conversation so much.

I will stay in touch.

I'm so glad to hear Charlie was home!  I could see how worried you were about him.
Will PM you about meeting the colony!
