My cat has pancreatitis and every now and then when it flares up, he loses his appetite and I have to result to syringe feeding and giving him sub q fluid. The thing is the fluid that the vet sells is quite expensive ($60) and last only for 2 days. Are there any good sub q fluids that can be purchased online that is more affordable? What do you guys use?

There are many places online where you can get lactated ringers solution (I'm guessing that is what you are using?). This is a list of places in the US (not sure where you are located) to get meds for pets, so not sure they all have LRS, but I know a lot do.

I believe you can also get them at Costco for a pretty good price.

If you are in the US, and you have a Walreen's nearby, a friend just told me about this:

"I just ordered a case of Braun fluids from Walgreens using the discount card you can print at www.DiscountDrugNetwork.com. The price was $38.20."

Braun DEHP-FREE 0264-7750-00
Baxter DEHP FREE 00338-630704
Hospiria DEHP FREE 00409 7953 48

All are 1000ML.
