Cat not eating, oops clear stuff

I haven't seen any vomit but I've been gone all day. I'm guessing it's a blockage because I caught him eating yarn a few days ago, but I'm really worried.

How long ago did he stop eating? How much yarn did her eat? Blockage or not if he's not eating and has diarrhea you need to get him to a vet. If he's blocked it's an urgent situation.

My parents said we'd get him to the vet tomorrow (thank goodness).
I'm not sure how much yarn he ate. I was just letting him play while I was reading and I heard chewing sounds. I took the yarn away from him and took what I could out of his mouth, but I'm sure he swallowed some.

He just ate a little soft food but he doesn't want to drink anything, I'm giving him water with a syringe

We took him to the vet, who said there were multiple things it could be. We chose to try dewormer and go from there
