When is to much for playtime?

My 2 year old (2 in April) Manx cat loves to play, she's super active, but I'm scared of over working her. If I don't have a good play session with her every couple days she gets pretty bad play aggression, but I notice that she starts to pant and breath heavier when we play a lot. I figure this is just because she's getting a work out but I'm not sure when I should stop because she still acts like she wants to play. In addition she had a Coloplexy in early January, and although I kept her confined and pretty low activity for about a month I'm still worried about something happening, especially because she's a jumper, she loves to jump for feather wands and anything really. Am I just over reacting, or should I really watch out.

Some cats are just super active
Panting during a good play session is typical. Just give your cat a break for awhile to rest up. She might want to keep playing but you're the Mom / Dad and knows when rest time is needed. Maybe some low key attention like brushing her fur will keep her happy while she rests.

A second cat can often help keep a super active cat occupied with playing and give you a break
I had to get a second cat because my Aby literally bounces off the walls with energy and demands a lof attention. I'm not sure if a second cat would work in your cirumstances but it's something to consider.

Thank you for the response, I do give her little breaks in between play. I try to play with her as much as possible but since she's so active and I'm quite busy it doesn't seem to be enough. Currently there is no way I can get a 2nd cat, but I am planing on moving out within a yr and it's something I've been thinking about then.
