That looks like it may be part of her mucus plug, which is normal before delivery. Does she have a nest to give birth in? She is getting close. You will want to be concerned and call your vet if you see her pushing with no result or in distress for more than a half hour.

Cats can get pregnant again within a week of delivery. It is very important that you keep her inside and away from intact males until she can be spayed when the kittens are 8 weeks old.

Thank you so much for your replay, she doesn't really want to stay in the place I made for her she is sitting beside me now. When should I expect her to give birth? And when should I worry ?

You can't nail down an exact time for delivery or for concern, especially if you don't know when she got pregnant.

Many cats do not go into their nests until it's time to deliver.

To elaborate on what I said above, you should be worried if she is actively pushing for more than a half hour with no birth, if she starts to bleed more than a bit, or if she appears to be in distress.

I know you want an exact answer, but no one can tell you that. She could go into active labor at any time now.

My siamese cat has just gave birth 3 hours ago for the last kitten, they are 4 the first 3 she ate the Umbilical cord while for the last one she didn't and everytime I put the cord near her mouth she doesn't do anything what can I do and how to take care of them all. Also it's her first time to give birth
Thanks

Honey just take a piece of dental floss, or if you don't have any, then thread, just make sure if pulled it won't break, if so then double it, just tie it around the cord about 1 1/2 inches from babys tummy, tie tight and cut off the rest just above the string, cut any hanging string pieces off, the tied part is fine to leave.

Yes I called him now and sent him the picture he said it's the umbilical cord and it should be cut, but I'm worried I feel the mother is neglecting him or something

Oh! I clicked on the pic and saw now, thank you!!

@rawanelshiwy  is this hanging thing attached by the umbilical cord?

If you are unsure can you please post a picture of the babys tummy?

Please do call the vet! It looks like intestines. There is no end to it or a placenta attached, which there would be if it were the umbilical cord. It looks too big to be an umbilical cord.
