We have two 5 month old kittens, one will puke up food on occasion, mostly when he's running around like an idiot with his sister or is excited and the vomit is always undigested food. We did switch them to a new food(Natural Balance grain free duck) but that was almost a month ago. His energy level is extremely high and his poops and pees are normal. He also eats and drinks like normal. They were both fixed 3 weeks ago

P.S. he is the house groomer and will groom both his sister and our 10 year old cat

How many meals is he getting a day? Three or four small meals a day rather than two larger ones might help.

I agree: we feed lots of small meals because one of our cats will "scarf and barf." I also avoid feeding the cats when they're wound up from playing. Or playing with them right after they've eaten. I know that's really hard with kittens but waiting for a half-hour or so after a run/play session can make a huge difference!

We free feed them because our 10 year cat has been free fed for the past 9 years and when she sees an empty bowl she gets anxious and starts puking(when we adopted her the shelter said she pukes when anxious)
