Bast, my love, is 5 months old, she will be 6 on the first.
She started her first heat on Thursday.
But she seems to be very sensative around her anal/vaginal area...
She acts perfectly normal though. Walks, runs ,plays, eats and sleeps just like always....

Has anyone ever had this?
I am verry worried!

This is common during heat, she is looking for a male to stop it. Please be sure she doesn't get outdoors because then her wish will come true. I would suggest you get her spayed as soon as possible.

But it is common for the area to be so sensative that it hurts?

It doesn't hurt, it is extremely sensitive right now, and touching it in any way will just stimulate her to a degree. Just give her head pets and try to ignore the meowing and trilling.

Rosie was exactly the same. The day i took her to be spayed they thought she was in season. When i asked how would i know if she was, they said 'crying more than normal, and washing more down below'.

Don't worry, poor baby should soon be ready to be spayed.
