It's been nearly 3 weeks, and Luna has been lifting and holding her tail up for short periods! Excellent news :) Keeping optimistic that she won't need her tail amputated anymore.

To ensure she won't go through it again, affer her house arrest is over we will be keeping her inside at night so she will stop getting herself hurt in cat fights.

Good news!  You might want to leave her inside all the time to keep her safer and out of mischief and fights.

She's healed now :D and she is happy being an indoor cat, despite one or two tantrums when she wants her way. She has a verandah to chill out and stare at passersby. She is out sometimes during the day but keeps within 50ft of the house, she is alwaye within our perimeter and ready to come back inside.
