Hi I have 2 female kittens who get on very well now I got 1 done yesterday at the vet and since I got the olderone home the other has rejected her hissing etc so has anyone got any suggestions or info tht may help me thank u x
Whenever I take one cat to the vet, I make an appointment for both. When they get home from a vet visit, they smell (and act) 'differnet', so the other cat does not temporarily know them anymore. They must either be separated and each rubbed down with the same towel to swap scents or like I mentioned both be brought in at the same time so they smell the same. ( and exchange horror stories!
) This is a serious experience and you are wise to seek advise, I have had cats actually attack each other and receive scratches and bites from this until I figured out what was going on! What you are going through is very common, and I have had it happen many times. It will get better with time, and thank you for spaying, your babies will be much calmer and happier now, all the luck!
