Hey guys, so today I finally got to bring home my 7 month old no name babe from the SPCA, he was rescued about a month ago after being in a feral colony in which the person who was feeding them passed away.

It may be me stressing out but I'm sitting here watching him sleep and he is breathing SO fast. It doesn't seem to bother him, and it doesn't seem laboured, just really fast. Not sure if it's just some anxiety or if I should be concerned!! SPCA didn't say anything about any concerns they had.

(Pic of my new babe! Names appreciated!!)

Thank you!!!

No not purring... He's still extremely timid and scared of people so it's been a big day for him. He crawled up to me for the first time ever today and I've been visiting him every day for a week now. I'm hoping he's just nervous

I think he's probably just nervous. If it goes on for too long, I'd ask a vet about it, but for now he probably is getting used to a new space. Hopefully, others will chime in with their opinions.
