forgive the picture, he'd just knocked into the water bowl and i was trying to calm him down.

so my mom came across this lil guy and brought him home cause he wasn't moving a lot and was in the middle of the road. poor little guy didn't make it the night. i think he was just an old kitty and it seemed like he went blind and senile before he died. but for a little while he sat on my lap and then i wrapped him up in a blanket and held him and he purred a lil.

i don't know who he belonged to, if anybody, but i'm glad he spent his last hours with us, in a warm house with people petting him instead of out in the street. i'm just sorry i didn't meet him sooner.

Aw, here's the little guy - I followed your other thread. I was so sorry he didn't make it. You are right though; it was a blessing he was someplace warm with people loving on him. Your mother was very kind to bring him home and I'm sure it was a great comfort to him to be surrounded by such caring people. He knew he was in a good place. Thank you for telling us about him. His little life mattered.

Such a sad little face... Poor little guy. He's no longer in pain, no longer confused, and his last hours were warm and loved. Rest in peace, dude.

Droopy crossed the Bridge in loving arms instead of in the middle of the road. Thank you for being with him in his last hours. Every life is important and precious. Rest in peace, dear old man.

It was so kind of you and your mother to take in this poor little soul and take care of him. I'm glad he got to spend his last hours experiencing such loving kindness. RIP, Droopy.

I pray you are blessed for your kindness, we need more people in this world like you and your mother. My heart cries for that little guy, I hope he has a swift journey to the Rainbow Bridge, he is now at peace and no more pain. He was so lucky to have found you in his life, everyone needs comfort and warmth at the end, you made his passing comfortable. I wish it could have turned out different, but it was not meant to be. Plaese accept my condolences, for although he was not in your life long, he left a mark on your heart. RIP sweet Droopy, you will be remembered in this world and will be held in loving hearts, please know that there are people who care and will pray for you!
