I had just had a few PMs with Gothic Amethyst and the first PM I had received from her I noticed it by coincidence when I browsed the lower text. Could it be possible that the text alerting of a new PM is in the upper part and bold so it catches one eye? Or even better a pop-up which says that you've got a new PM.

Is that possible?

Sorry no, not until we upgrade again. We just upgraded not to long ago. If you go to options and click there and set the button to yes that says emails on PM's the board will automatically send you an email telling you there is a PM waiting. The only other way would be to scroll down to the bottom of the main forums page (under where the birthdays are listed, and it will tell you if any PM's are new and waiting for you.
