I have a 3 year old persian cat, she is pregnant for the first time at 62 days. She was confirmed by our vet to be pregnant with one kitten. 2 days ago she had pink discharge for a couple hours, then it stopped. I called the vet (they know her well) and he said it was the start of labor. 2 days later, no labor and I can no longer feel the one single kitten in her belly. I was able to easily before. She has not been out of my sight and she has not delivered the kitten. She is staying in her nesting box 24/7. Could the Kitten simply have moved into a birthing position- which is why I can no longer feel it? She's acting normal other than a little nervousness. I'm worried. :(

Cant really offer you much advise but the kitten had possibly moved in to position for birth.

Lets hope so.

As she is staying in her nesting  box, it hints she had not an abortion.  Whatever happened, the kitten is still inside.

Do you have a good way to measure her temp?  Or at least, know her normal temp?

Ps   so my advice is you observe, and wait and see. No rush for emergency cesarean as long as she is well and no troubles.

Emergency cesarean are often dangerous for the kittens, if done prematurely, as being born premature is very high risk business for kittens, unlike humas.

Things should start progressing soon! Does she appear stressed at all? She could be delaying labour if so. Try confining her into a small bathroom or bedroom to herself for a day with some food, that may help. I've noticed with cats that are only carrying 1-3 kittens, usually go over the standard 63 days, because there is still enough space for them for a few more days. Temp drop isn't always an indicator for labour, so I look for signs like nesting, uncomfortableness, pacing, shying away, loss of appetite, and the bigger signs are panting, sleeping in whelp box, vocalizing, clear discharge, and contractions. Things should start rolling soon. If nothing has happened in the next day or two, contact your vet!
No movement is also a good sign, especially in such a small litter. Kitten is probably in position for labour. IF, kitten may have passed away inside of mama (highly doubt this), the kitten will still be expelled and be stillborn.
However, I'm sure everything is perfectly fine! Don't think too much just yet. Labour can literally pop off so fast. I also notice that mama cat tends to sleep in odd, cool places.
I found one mama cat sleeping in our bathroom sink the morning of delivery, she gave birth around dinner that same day. They seek out cooler places too cool things down in their body, with all the buns in the oven it gets warm!

Keep us updated!

Its normal everyday temp.  What Im meaning, you shall watch out for rising temp - ie fever. In such a case immediatley contact your vet.

The temp usually falls about 3-4 fahrenheit degrees shortbly before the delivery.  But its not very reliable sign.

good you can measure the temp witthout troubles.  do you it in the behind?  That is the most reliable place, but if it bothers her, in the armpit of the foreleg is OK too. At least, to see tendency.  The temp in there is about 3Fahrenheit lower than in the behind.
