It's this black thing next to her nose. It's a rough/velvety texture, similar to the nose texture but not quite. Do cats get warts?

One website says:
Papillomatosis is contagious in nature and in older cats, this disorder can arise due to the immune system being suppressed through the use of medication, surgery, or in some instances, disease. There are some cases where the wart virus is genetically related by breed.
Could prednisolone bring this out? Assuming it is a wart. She's been on prednisolone since December (IBD problems), and I just stopped it about a week ago.

You may want to discuss this with a vet. My cat that recently passed away had this. ( And no death of her was not caused by this )  We did go to the vet and they helped a lot!

And another says:
In cats, papillomavirus does not cause the hard, rounded warts seen in most other species. Instead, it leads to formation of a squamous cell carcinoma.
I'm really confused about what this could be. I'm going to make an appointment as soon as possible, but I'll appreciate any weird face lump stories anyone has to share.

It's black, not normal skin textured, look/feel solid (not like it's filled with fluid), clearly protrudes above the level of the hair, no hair growing on it. She doesn't like me touching it, but it is her nose area and she wouldn't like me poking her nose, either. I think it popped up in the past couple days, and she's also been eating a bit less but maybe that's because she's not on prednisolone to stimulate her appetite.

@EllieCatForEver, your cat had a lump like this or feline papilloma? Did you have to get it removed?

Well, I woke up and it was gone, so I guess it fell off. Still wish I knew what it was.
