Don't worry about wasting the bag of food at the moment.  The more important issue is getting some food into your cats.  Cats who go this long without food are at serious risk for developing hepatic lipidosis, or fatty liver disease.  Recovery from this is very difficult and many cats do not make it.  Please feed your cats whatever necessary to get them to eat right away.  They may need some coaxing at this point because if liver problems have already started, their appetites are affected.

First, give them food you know they liked in the past.  If this does not work, try slightly warming up canned tuna or some chicken or turkey baby food (without garlic or onions) and offering it to them.  Many cats can not resist this.  Try putting the food under their noses when they are asleep and wake them up - sometimes they will eat automatically.  You can also try crumbling cheese on their food.  Scrambled eggs or boiled chicken and boiled rice also tempt many cats into eating.  They may respond to hand feeding when they won't take food from their bowl, so try that as well.  You might have to resort to syringe feeding, using needless syringes available at the pharmacy.

If you can not get them to eat at all, it is time for a trip to the vet.

In terms of getting them to eat the bag of food you already have on hand - this might be a losing proposition.  Cats can be very picky.  However, you could try mixing it in with their old food and gradually shift over to the new food entirely.

Good luck and please update us.  I hope your cats start eating soon!

My cats love hard food mixed with a little wet, you might try that, or mix a little with kitten chow and see if they will eat that, most cats can't resist kitten chow and I give that to sick and old cats too to build them up.  I know how frustrating it is to have to get rid of a bag of expensive food, my cats seem to prefer the cheap brands! I have a 'herd' of strays and ferals I feed outside so at least it doesn't go to waste. If you don't know of someone to give it too, you might consider donating it to a shelter.

What were the cats eating before? Give them the old food for now and try to mix small amounts of the new food into the old food. Your cats need to eat something before fatty liveer disease occurs from lack of calorie and food intake.

Some cats just flat out refuse to eat a particular brand of food because it smells or tastes "yucky" to them
Did you buy the TOTW from the pet store? You can return it for a refund or exchange it for a different brand of food.

Try not to feed seafood based dry or canned food too often. Seafood can cause problems in some cats like urinary issues, it's addicting so some cats will refuse to eat anything meat based. Seafood is best limited to once in awhile meals. Stick with meat based dry food if you can. Dry food isn't best for cats in general but that's a whole separate topic.
