Noticed some irritated looking scabs on my new 8 week old kitten's nose yesterday, when we got him a week ago there was no evidence of them.
He has been playing rough with my older 5 month old kitten so maybe it came from that? But I never found any wounds after their playing, I always supervise to them and break up the play when it gets too rough.
Any advice?

OMG, he is SO cute
!!!!!

As to those scabs, honestly, it doesn't look like something that would be caused by rough play.  Looks more like he's trying to get his face under something where it doesn't fit (squeezing some where under something).  But it could really be anything, including some sort of fungal thing
I'd probably just keep an eye on it and see if it changes, and if it doesn't go away like a normal scab, then I'd take him in to be checked.

You were completely right! The scabs fell off today without a problem. His nose is all cute and pink again.

Thank you for quelling my concerns.
