Pinkie is about 8 years old. She was a stray kitten but is a family member now after many years. A couple of weeks ago we noticed she was losing weight with no apparent change in eating habits. We took her to the vet. After an X-ray, we were told she needed to have surgery to remove an intestinal blockage that could be cancerous. She had surgery Wednesday and was supposed to come home Thursday. The vet wouldn't release her to us claiming that "the cancer", for which there are no pathology reports without an additional payment after over $1200 already paid, had spread to her brain causing neurological damage. She had no other symptoms besides weight loss!!!!! Friday we went to see her. She recognized us and cried out, but could not even lift her head without uncontrollable spasms causing her to not even be able to hold her head still. The vet recommended putting her down right then!! She was totally fine when we left her with them but for a bit of weight loss!! We took her home. Her eyes stayed completely dilated for 24 hours. It has been about 60 hours we've had her home. She can barely hold her head still. She cannot stand, walk, eat, drink, or even stretch. We are keeping her alive with a feeding syringe. Feeding her is totally exhausting for her as her body won't cooperate at all. What did they do to our baby?????????
