All my litter boxes! I can't believe I didn't do it years ago, I got two that look like end tables (85.00 on Amazon) and I absolutely love them! They look like a piece of furniture now, not those plastic domed litter boxes that I've had for years.  But of course then I had to buy two high sided boxes to fit inside because my cats are digging for gold when inside and scatter litter all over the sides of a normal box, and I have one that likes to stand to pee too, so I need the high sides. But now I have something that looks nice with plants on top of one and pictures on top the other. I highly recommend them!

I actually fell in love with the 30-gallon-bin the Cat Whisperer at my vet's office helped fashion into a litter box. My cats love it too! When I replace my other litter boxes, I'm getting more bins, although perhaps a tad smaller as I don't think two 30-gallon bins would fit in the area they are at.

My camera.  It isn't actually replaced yet, but one of our wonderful, beautiful, precious members is sending me a camera that they no longer use!  I'm so thrilled!  I thought it would be several months until I could save enough to get even a very basic one, which is all I need.

The charging cable for my phone.   It was infuriating because it was actually a replacement of the replacement - the first replacement failed within a couple of weeks.  I ended up having to pay extra for overnight shipping so I wouldn't find myself without a phone.

Along the same lines, my new toaster of 6 months has completely died and needs to be replaced as well.

Phooey.

I had to buy a replacement dirt collector for the Roomba vacuum.  The bin would come loose and fall off of the vacuum but the vacuum would keep merrily spinning down the hall, picking up dirt and dust and spewing it out the back because there was no bin in place to collect it!

i liked my old printer. it actually lost it's mind two nights ago, that would be sunday night. i woke up in the wee hours of the morning to the sound of it starting up. i strongly suspect little itty bitty kitten babies had been walking/playing on it and hit the power button, then once they'd 'woken up' the printer and got it making interesting noises i believe they may very well have started hitting buttons with their paws. the girls are thoroughly fascinated by the printer. anyway, the printer was going nuts! pulling sheets of paper in halfway, pausing for a minute or two, then shooting the paper through and out.........over and over, one sheet of paper after the other. i just looked at that and unplugged the printer -- the power button wasn't even functioning. i tried working with it again the next morning, but nothing had changed...it had completely lost it's mind. so i put the old printer away, and may take a further look at it coming up...or not.

wow! that's a lovely car!

Last month was one of those months where everything broke at the same time. I had to replace;

* The hard drive on one computer.

* The battery and adapter on my back-up computer.

* My chain spikes. (Lost one in the snow and can't walk around here without chain spikes over my boots.)

* The brake cable on the car.

* A kerosene stove. (I suspect one of the cats may have sprayed directly into it. It suddenly stopped working and smelled really bad.)

* Most of the cat-proof fence after a stupid tree fell down and broke it.

I've been doing a lot of over time this month to pay for everything.

that's a heck of a lot to absorb replacing in one month!

awww, and your wonderful cat-proof fence too!

Geez, I don't know.

Back in December, we came "this close" to replacing the blasted stove because the oven clean cycle was locked and I couldn't get the local repair guy to come down to look at it. Heck, I couldn't even get the guy to call me back....and we bought the stove from him!

Underwear?
Bought new bras back in January and got rid of the old ones.
ahhh, and i think i remember how you fixed that stove problem too! didn't you give the oven door a good couple of slams?

i usually buy new underwear as well as socks once each year. they just seem to wear to the point that i need to replace many of them.

It's funny that when something you took for granted stops working, it dominates your thoughts. So last Wednesday a washbasin tap broke and I could think of nothing else all the time. And as usual, my regular plumber was busy, I could not wait, so I called a new one who grossly overcharged me. I ended up paying 40 Euros for a new tap that I got myself, and 50 Euros for replacing the old one.
i can understand that.
i've had plumbing issues that needed fixing promptly, and had a plumber take an 'emergency call' ahead of mine (and my call was to fix a frozen water line to my one and only toilet). emergency calls get charged a higher rate, so the plumber makes more money. i was lucky that i was able to find an excellent plumber, with reasonable rates and good morals to use instead of the other plumber. just like with contractors, the bad ones make people more cautious/wary towards all of them.

 Thank you!

That is an awesome story. I could see my cats getting into something like that.

Ordered new ASICS running sneakers Friday from Zappos.  Waiting for them to arrive.  I don't wear regular shoes anymore unless I have some kind of event to go to - too many foot problems when I do. Good thing my office has a very relaxed dress code
those sneakers sound great!
my feet have their issues these days too. mine get so sore so very easily, and i bought a wonderfully soft and cushiony pair of LL Bean slippers that i wear indoors. those slippers are so comfy, and they have a lifetime guarantee.

I haven't actually replaced it yet, but I need to buy a new slow cooker.  My old one was working fine, but the last time I used it, the lid broke in half when I bumped it against the stove.  A replacement lid is $20 + shipping, so it makes more sense to just buy a new slow cooker.   Course that's easier said than done, with so many different ones to choose from.
i found the same thing true when my blender top part, the 'carafe' part, broke on my old oster blender.
so i bought a new blender, a hamilton beach.

I think it was a Hamilton Beach blender I bought at a yard sale close to thirty years ago for $5.00. I don't use a blender much, but I like them for milk shakes. I wanted a light weight one, all plastic because I wanted to be able to take it off the counter and put it down below on the revolving shelf. I finally found one that suited me at Ollie's for $15. It is just enough to do what I want. Plus I will use it for chopping pecans when I make pies.
i have a hamilton beach blender too! it's a good brand.
i use mine mostly to make smoothies.

We had to purchase a new refrigerator our old one was less than 10 yrs old but where we live the power does crazy things and ruins our appliances. Had to buy DD new clothes also she's been growing like a weed this year from a size 12 in kids to a size 3 in jrs jeans! Plus her feet been growing to from a size 4 children's to a 7 1/2 in adults this year!
wow! a large appliance replacement!
it sounds like your DD had a serious 'growth spurt'!

We haven't replaced it yet but I am sure my bf will stop and get on today. Our coffee maker quit working a few days ago. It's not a big deal for me cause I don't drink it, but my bf lives on it.
uh-oh!!!
for coffee drinkers, that would need replacing asap!

Cat-proof fence is almost back to normal now. The kitties are just going to have to get used to the idea that they don't have the whole forest to roam around any more.

EDIT. Just as I posted this I looked up to see Carpet trotting off down the lane going, "I has escaped! I has escaped!"

That's so funny.  thanks for the laugh.

I'm now off to drop our Civic at the mechanics for an oil change and a TPMS light that won't turn off.  Hope it's a cheap fix.  The van needs to go in too.

The microwave that needs replacing will just have to wait.

Best ever. Seriously. My orthopedist recommends running over walking sneakers because they are more flexible, and usually have a wider toe box.  They are also very stable.  A lot of money for the ones I purchased, but they last me well over a year and I don't spend much on shoes anyway.  And my feet feel a lot better too.
