Hey everyone! We had our kitten spayed yesterday morning. She was fine and today she is alert and as back to normal as she can be 24 hours out. Our only problem is she popped one of her stitches. I am not sure when she did it (I have been obsessed with checking to make sure everything was fine) but it's the bottom one. There is a tiny hole but no blood or anything that I can see. We would usually take her to a vet to get this fixed but ours isn't open until Monday morning and the closest is over two hours away. Do you think she will be okay until then? She seems fine and I know there are internal ones but I am a first time pet owner and kind of scared.

I was wrong. The popped stitch is the second from the bottom. I don't know if that makes a difference?

Don't panic can you take a photo to post here that way it can be assessed better for you. Try hard to keep her quiet no running jumping, over licking washing area.

So, I may have panicked. I thought her stitches zig zagged but I guess they cross her belly instead. That red mark also does not have the hole I thought it did either. Still that looks a little open right? My husband is a doctor and claims it looks okay but I am still kinda worried. [emoji]128542[/emoji]
