The stray cat i've been caring for gave birth almost two months ago. She recently "led" me to this seemingly abandoned, and completely locked up (from humans) house. I left a note hoping the owners would come back as soon as possible. Today, I was finally able to talk to the owners of the house and apparently they knew about the cat and her two kittens. Unfortunately the two kittens are somewhat feral. One bravely hisses at humans, but both of them run away most of the time. We can't properly catch them since the porch where they've been staying in are full of things. They plan to move everything out by next week. But until then, what are the recommended ways to catch them or at least properly lure them out? We already requested a cat trap from the local security force.

Yes, a trap is the best way to get them.

They will need some serious taming done if you want to help find them homes, they will tame easiest to one person or family in time, but often times people want an instant lap kitten, so it makes it harder to find them homes.

Please get momma cat fixed, she will go in to heat and be prego again very soon now.

Thanks for caring!

It also depends on their age.

At 6 weeks it's fairly easy, at 8 weeks it can be a full time job for a bit, at first at least.

The worst part is they need to be separated for the most success.

They feed off of each other's fear, meaning you take one out and work with him, gaining progress, then put him in with the sib and he goes right back to being fearful, undoing what progress may have been made.
