grey baby is a week old now! It's eyes are starting to open! He is sooo active and always nursing. I'm so in love [emoji]128152[/emoji] (my son was trying to kiss it's tail when I wouldn't let him hold it. He didn't pull it at all, just a gentle touch and kiss. He loves his new baby!)

Thanks! I had my doubts about Baby as a mother at first but after she saw me try to give it milk with a syringe then breastfeed my son, I think her instincts finally kicked in. She's a great mom! And the kitten is getting huge!

This grey baby is 4 weeks old now! He is so big! I'm pretty sure it's a boy, but I'm going to wait till the next vet appointment to ask the vet to be sure. He's so beautiful. He's complelty grey but his fur shines in the light so it looks like he's all different shades of grey, sometimes it looks like he has white tips on his fur. He is soooo active. Runs and jumps everywhere and climbs into our bed by himself. I love this baby!

Good to hear mom and baby are both doing well! I've got a first time momma about to deliver so this is very reassuring. Find out about low cost spay/neuter programs in your area, they are usually run by Cat's Cradle, a local municipal shelter, or the ASPCA in your area. I get all my foster babies fixed at low cost clinics and out of 18 kitties I've sent only one had a complication but she is doing great now. Just something to look into because spay/neuter surgeries can be really expensive!

Oh definitely.I put money aside from my tax return to get both of them fixed. They'll either go to the SPCA or peta. Peta is cheaper for both of them to be fixed, but they will put green tattoos on them to mark them as neutered animals and idk if I want that in them.

Oh, the tattoo really isn't a big deal. They just pour a bit of ink in a cut. You'll never see it through their fur.

Oh good. I'm just worried they'll make the marks huge and they'll be visible through their fur. I don't mind it if I actually have to dig through their fur to find them.I know it shouldn't be a big deal because they'll be neutered either way, but I don't want anything to detract from my babies beauty!

Definitely, you'll never see it! It's a very faint mark that would only be seen if a vet were to shave them in order to spay/neuter them again, if they were lost, for example. It's to prevent a repeat procedure.
