I have an 8yr old calico who was started on raw at the end of last year. She is on an actual balanced diet (not the random bits of meat and veg type), but one with a proper analysis, human grade food, minimal ingredients, absolutely no grain/rice/corn/that other filler crap. She's also on L-Lysine, additional cold water fish oil, coconut oil and high CBD cannabis oil.(all started with the raw)

She has a mass near her spine and looks to be "wasting away" (loss of muscle mass on her hind legs and shoulder.)

Does anyone here have any experience with treating tumours with cannabis oil???

I absolutely do not want to put her through chemo as it WILL kill her. The CBD and raw means she no longer throws up several times a day and keeps all her food down. She eats throughout the day which makes feeding so much harder as I can't leave the raw out, so I actually time it so that I put the bowl back in front of her every 30 minutes to take a few more bites (without the others eating it).

Did you take her to the vet? Maybe they can surgically remove the mass, and at the same time analyze it to see if it is malignant.

She is scheduled in but it will be about a week or two. Just had to drop over $1000 on another cat who managed to crack her tooth in half.

Hi and welcome to the forum  MissLexx !

While general forums like this are a great starting point for most people, there are also specialized online communities for almost every feline disease/condition. This is where one is most likely to get the best/most current medical information/advice/direction.

The feline cancer group has been in existence since 1999 and new members will have access to all those years of collective experience that's come from almost 3000 owners and cats passing through. IF I were dealing with this, that's where I'd be.

You'll find them here:  Feline Cancer Support Group

I suspect you'll learn a thing or two about cats and chemo there as well.

Hope that helps.
