I know he's still a kitten and is still growing, but wow... Hades eats a lot! It has me wondering if maybe he's eating for many. He's eaten all the his wet food, plus all of Hecate's leftovers, plus half a large bowl of kitten chow! Should I be worried? If he does need a dewormer, what do you recommend?

may i ask -- how old is your Hades? and how long has he been with you in his furever home?

we have two 6 month old kittens. they both have big appetites too. just as an example -- our deedee and punkin eat 4 meals per day, and eat about 1/3rd of a 5.5 oz can of (grain free) cat food with either some raw or re-hydrated freeze dried raw mixed into it at each meal. they've been eating this much since we adopted them, and now (almost 2 months later) are just starting to move past the 'i'm ravenously hungry' stage and settle into just enjoying their meals.

has your boy been tested for parasites? it's so common for kittens to have parasites, that (if i'm not mistaken) they're always treated for them when they're young/kittens.

We just got him yesterday. He's a foundling. I can't afford to take him to the vet, yet, but rest assured, he will be going asap! Hecate is an unfixed female and she's maybe a month or two older than him, and we figure he's roughly around six months. He may still be in the ravenous stage. Hecate's ravenous stage was weird, since she's got the fish sensitivity and is a rather picky thing. But, Hades doesn't care. Food is food. And he will eat anything. He's got bigger poops than Hecate, too.
