I have a question about my own pregnant cat [emoji]128563[/emoji]

She's pregnant quite far gone as I have felt the babies move about a week and a half ago now I think, she's always sleepy and hungry, which I presume is normal but to me she's quite young herself so I worry. I'm new too being a mommy of a cat myself so I don't know what to expect she's on kitten food and I have started her on powdered formula milk today as I done my research. She's become not so loving more bothered about sleep.

I guess I just want too know if this is perfectly normal and if anyone has any clues as too how far she could be? Thanks again

Aww what a beautiful mama!
Thank goodness you've done your research. It sounds like she's being fed very well, and being taken care of. They do start to get pretty restless in the last few weeks, you may even find that she seeks cooler places to lay down like tiled floor or the cool basement, all the buns in the oven make her warm :) my 2 mamas are starting to do this as well. One of them even sleeps comfortably in the bathroom sink, lol! Your girl looks like she is around the 7th week mark. So I'd say about 2 more weeks, especially since you've started feeling kitten movement. Do you have any idea when she could have mated? If so, then count 65 days from the day she mated and that will give you a rough due date. She should also be starting to scope out a place to whelp the kittens (give birth). I find that a little plastic kid pool works best, one of my mamas have also started to sleep in it. Also make sure that you have a heating pad for when they arrive, I swear by them. Not only does it keep them warm, but I notice that they're more content when mama is away from the nest. When she is close to birth, you'll notice that she will shy away, or even become more vocal and affectionate. Contractions are impossible to miss, so don't worry about that either. If she'll cooperate, you can take a rectal temperature 98F is an indication that she's in labour, and active labour will soon follow! It's also very normal that she is seeking privacy and being less affectionate, don't be alarmed! Good luck and keep me posted :)

Yes, I'd definitely say she has a few more weeks. No more than 2! She's quite full. Kitties are born about 2-3 weeks after you feel them move. In the last few days, you won't feel much movement because their space is very limited, and they are getting in line for birth. Good luck!

How old is she? She looks very small and fairly thin, so I would be trying to feed her as much as possible. What are you feeding her? How much?
