I have a cat that has been on Prozac for 6 years. His liver enzymes fluctuate from 101 to 158 on 3 blood tests this year. Do you think the Prozac would cause this? We are weaning him off now as he is 8 and I hope his night howling and anxiety are in check by now . We ll see.

i'm glad you are weaning him.  Prozac can't be stopped cold turkey without bad side effects.  Does your cat eat a grain-free diet?

Yes. He eats wet and a little Orijen dry. We are weaning over 2 weeks. I just think 6 years is a long time and as he gets older it is not good for him to be on this for his liver and kidneys.
