Yeah this was a tough one, but I do appreciate how we can vote for 10 of them. Makes it easier to vote, but probably a lot of work for the mods.

I love them all, but I'm always struck by how clear and detailed that Sinbad photo is. What kind of camera was used in that shot? I have to step up my game and get out the Canon instead of relying on my iPhone!

What surprised me after voting that thread is that my very favorite, which I was sure would be way out in front, was NOT, not even close -- but quite a few of my 10 were up there in the running. The fact that they were not ALL everyone's favorites does surprise me, but that's how I used to feel showing Household Pets too -- that's why they had 6 or 8 different judges! Unlike the purebred showing, where breed standards came into play, in Household Pets, it's definitely judge's fancy.

@Red Top Rescue I suspect judge favourites comes in to play stongly in pedigree judging too.... beauty is always going to be in the eye of the beholder, and it would be a sad world indeed if we all had the same opinions. Can you imagine a world where only cats with a white speck on their nose, orange ears and green eyes were considered beautiful, or people only liked blurred photographs? Or sensible photographs come to that!

I find it fascinating to see which phototgraphs come out with the highest votes each month, and it is rare that they are the ones I suspect.
