Hi, I have two kittens about 12 weeks, They have been with me Bruce for 2 weeks and Luke for 1,5 weeks. When I adopted Bruce they gave me a bag of Performatin that I am mixing with Blue Buffalo healthy growth. To complement I bought some Weruva's Cats in the kitchen and BFF and feed them twice a day. But Luke is having frequent episodes of diarrhea, first I thought it could bethe dry food that hed suffered a change and I mixed only in the very beggining so bruce wouldnt eat from it too. So I imagine its the Weruva canned that is causing the diarrhea. What other wet foods should I try giving him? Do you guys think he can get used to it if I buy another one and mox little bu little? I saw on some posts that the food might be too rich for him. Thanks

I'd definitely move him off it, and if the diarrhea persists visit a vet. Good luck.

Yes, to all points. There are lots of ingredients that could possibly cause the problem, both in the Blue Buffalo and the Weruva, so I'd probably start by taking the food back to what it was before the diarrhea began. And take him to the vet if there's more diarrhea: kittens can be tricky and "frequent" is, well, frequent.

If all's well, you could try reintroducing the Weruva very slowly. I'd start with foods that don't have fish.

Good luck!

Kittens have very sensitive digestive systems and get diarrhea easily from food changes. You might look into adding a probiotic mixed in their wet food which will help a lot. I did this when my kittens were small because everything gave them soft stool. Here's a list of human probiotics you can give you cats with kitten dosage.
