I'm so sorry she got out! That must be nerve wracking!

What time of day is it? Could you go out with her treats and see if you can find her? Maybe being a carrying case with as well with a blanket in case she is in labor.

Everyone just wants momma and kittys safe.

I hope she comes back soon!

I'm also relieved to hear that she is back! No third degree - just thought if you had a cat door you could lock it closed. That's what I've done in the past with mine.

It may have been the plug, but it may have been just discharge. However, labor does not always follow immediately.

If her belly has dropped well probably see kitten pics this week!

Although what do I know...I'm a first time cat grandma and I can't figure out how far along sophie is :/

I've also read that when her temp drops you know labor is immanent.

I personally don't think I'm going to do that because I think it would stress sophie out too much and I really want her as comfortable as possible.

You can check their temperature in their armpits, which is much less stressful. It's not always a reliable indicator though.

Shes just not showing any signs im confused as she had a bit of green stuff near her bottom 2 days ago and seemed to be breathing fast. But now normal again. [emoji]128533[/emoji]

There can be a false start to labor, and cats can lose their mucus plug well before delivery. As long as she isn't in distress she is probably fine.
