What's everybody up to this weekend?

I'm going out tonight to visit with some of my cousins on my father's side. We've never done anything like this before, so it should be interesting. My husband is brewing beer today, so I am staying out of the kitchen for a bit.

Tomorrow I am going out shopping with a friend to help her find curtains for her Living Room.

I need to put the cat's mesh tunnel and tents back outside.  It was too windy last week so I put them in the garage.  Fluffy has been meowing at the window where the cat door usually is every morning. 

We spent the last two afternoons and evenings at a Bluegrass Music Festival. It was lots of food and music and time spent with friends. I am glad to be home today, crashed. :lol3:

Spent the time resting my back and being catered to by my ex instead of entertaining the whole family Friday night. 8 adults and 7 children.

@AbbysMom    So how did the visit go?  

I spent the weekend cleaning litter boxes.      Well, okay, not the entire weekend.      But there are five boxes and once I got started, I realized the room it was in--and they're all in different rooms--needed vacuuming and then the floor needed mopping and then....you know how it goes, one chore leads to another.  

I did chores yesterday and half of today and then at 2, hubby and I knocked off from household duties and went out for a late lunch and a cold beer.  Perfect reward for all that hard work.    

It went OK. I had a good time and learned a lot of fairly interesting thins about the family. Now back to the regular week. :lol3:

I went to see the Witch on Saturday. Weird movie. It had the possibility of being a bit Amityville-Horrorish, like the book that is, but then it wasn't. Not a bad movie but I don't know how to explain it without telling the story.
