Chapped pads

My 10 month old kitten appears to have dry and sort of cracked pads, I just noticed this couple days ago!! It's only on his back feet. His front feet are fine. I have no idea what this is from!! I was thinking maybe the chemicals in the litter we're using? it's scented.

Please help!

I would ask your vet about this. It could be allergies, or a burn, or even a fungal infection.

I would recommend a vet trip and then you might want to switch to a natural litter and see if that helps.  Also, it could be related to his food.  Be sure you're feeding him lots of canned food and see if that helps.  He might need some fish oil or something to help his skin be more supple.
