Yes she does look scaly that cat doesn't she, she has gone like that after i bathed her in sebolyptic shampoo its for cats with exsess skin cells such as dandruff. This was 2 weeks and she didn't look nothing like this. its as if it's something the shampoo has done helped in someway it looks like the affected hair/skin is coming away. Oh I don't know.

We will take out the carpets hover and bleach and put in some tiles or something to make it better for me to clean.

Well I'm booked in to take a cat in Thursday see if that brings up any results. In the meantime I will do all the things you have advised me to and see if it has any difference.

It really does help to have someone to guide you and talk to as at the moment it feels like I have some mutant Unknown super parasite that I can't get shut of. In one breath I feel like it's getting on top of me and giving up and in the other I feel like no I will not be beaten.

If we could just get a result I'd be over the moon as the unknown is doing my head in.

Thanx cat woman really appreciate your help I do

Hard for me to really tell the color of the glowing area, does it look pale yellow or any green tone to it at all?

I think from the pic it does appear to be ringworm.

But as I said too, the light makes every tiny particle glow on a cat too, but from what I can tell in this picture it does have a green tone to it.

Happy to help!

This reminds me of like human dandruff shampoo, not sure what it's use is for though.

Maybe irritated/scaling skin, or even cat dandruff, how some get white flakes along their back?

Yes that's right for animals with dandruff as we have a black girl and we was taking her to a show and dandruff shows up on black cats real bad

Anyway I used it on the scaly girl and now she went like that

In this pic, see the small spot in front of the ear, that looks to me like ringworm spores.
I got excited when I saw that but I posted it in a uk forum and one person said to me scabs would glow up as dead skin cells glow up [emoji]128533[/emoji]

Really? Well that is interesting.
Would we not have caught it by now?
Lots will glow under a blacklight, debris, urine, random particles, etc. but a yellow-ish color.

Ringworm has a green hue to it, sort of a light lime green/neon green color.

Not necessarily, it depends, partly on the strain, partly on your own immune system, partly on what part of your skin has come in direct contact with it.

For instance, I have handled ringworm several/many times, but never have had it on my hands, but once when I barely touched a kitten with it at the humane society, I got a spot on my wrist.

That time was that really bad/strange strain of it.

Still can't say for sure that this is what it is, in the pic it appears to be a greenish color, is this correct what you see in person?

It must contain terbinafine hydrochloride 1% or more to be effective.

I have the generic from Walgreens but if I remember right it is lotrimin cream that contains terbinifine. You would have to read the labels to find the right one.

Only about 8-10 dollars. (US)

I will order some of the one you say then. The one I have is definitely used to treat ringworm in humans though.

I just had the black light out again and Iv no idea why but this girl has neon nipples lol ... But only the top two

That's crazy. What does the vet recommend?

Meanwhile waiting for the results, did you use the cream?

Don't stress too much on it, the answer will come.

Okay so what about using colloidal silver?

The heal all, fix all, cure all remedy.

The vet thinks i should stop buying my royal canin from zoofast based in poland, she said you dont know whats in it really. But i already did stop buying from there as i ordered some sanabelle they have been eating this for about 10 days so not really long enough to see a difference. Vet also said what about trying some rc hair and skin i though that was worth a shot so will order that next time. Also tried flogging me some hills prescription diet ..like they do lol.

I did try the cream on one girl she hasnt really inproved it kind of just helped the hair to fall out if that makes any sense.

I have been using the sulpur dips one dip per week i cant tell if its helping yet as i doubt i will see any fur regrowth in that time. vets says it wont harm in trying.

One thing about that scraping that i wasnt very happy with is that she didnt pluck any hairs she only scraped so i dont know if it could have been missed. That's frustrating i really dont know how i didnt get a resulty as i left that boy free from advocate purposely to try get a result At the time of the test she was adament it wasnt ringworm and that it was mite but now shes saying well it cant be mite that it must be allergy.im not so sure, maybe they missed the mite. i havnt dont anything different in the cattery to make an allergy cleaning wise, the only think i can try is changing the dry food back to uk branch and maybe go for the rc hair and skin.

im interested to know about this   colloidal silver what is this and what does it do?

The thing about this is, it has to be something they are all exposed to, like a food ingredient, or skin mites (although this would have been found by now) or ringworm.

So if the test has still come up with nothing, I would be looking at the food at this point, there's nothing else left.

I doubt that anything would be missed due to lack of hair strands if a good scraping was done.

Colloidal Silver, I hate to be an advocate on because the only experience I had with it was when I got a spot of ringworm on my wrist from a new intake cat we didn't know was carrying it.

I treated it for a month, thought it was gone, but a week after I stopped treating it with the athlete's foot cream, it came back.

A friend of mine gave me a tiny bottle of colloidal silver saying it helps ringworm, so I did use it, and I'm not sure if it's because I was just catching the reinfected spot soon after it came back or that stuff really worked, but it was gone for good after a few days.

So do your own research on it yourself, I know there are members here who also think it's wonderful stuff so you might be able to find threads on it as well.
