Hello ,
I have a maiden queen (over one year now ) who didn't go into a heat unless it was a silent one . However I did not notice my male actually mate with her . She is acting happy and normal which is why I havnt brought her to the vet yet to avoid stressing her out . But her belly is swelling and I don't notice a huge difference in her nipples . Could this be a uterine infection even though she is eating playing and happy or is this a false pregnancy will upload pictures

If both cats are intact she is most likely pregnant whether you seen them mate or not.

Hi there ,
I work from home and I always hear or witness a matting with my cats . I don't know how I could miss it ? But it is possible

There is always a chance you don't see it. You sleep, shower, go to the store. My cat got out a few weeks ago while my bf went to work. I never seen nothing but until she goes to vet next week I am treating her as she is. From all I read it can happen in less than a minute.

Yes it defiantly only takes a few seconds . It's just weird I'm not used to having a cat not go into a full call . My queens are normally very vocal and I know what's going on at all times . Except this one . Praying it's not a uterine infection

Chances are good its pregnancy.  But the only way to play it safe, is to go to your vet.   You are some sort of breeder, no?   Having tight cooperation with your vet  is no big bizness for you, it should be the normale.

You tell silent heat, and no observed matings.  Do you notice if your tom is marking her heats?  Does he notice them and show he notices?

Your cat is most likely pregnant regardless of whether you saw or heard anything. Intact cats of the opposite sex that live together will mate. Is this what you wanted to happen? How old is this cat? Do you have plans to spay and neuter your cats?

No they will not be spayed I am a breeder . I do also have a close connection with my vet she is scheduled for an appointment on Monday for a check up I was just hoping for some peace of mind :) she is 18 months old . Our stud has been interested in her for a few weeks but I have not experienced a half heat or just a case of high hormones before so she has me confused . I found today she was less swollen after she was a bit constipated and she did poo quite a large amount

I am wondering if your cat has pyometra if she's not pregnant. I'm praying for your cat. I hope she will be okay! Please keep us posted! [emoji]128591[/emoji]

That was my exact worry when I read the title. Vomiting blood is definitely not a good sign. I sure hope the original poster has the cat to the Vet now.

Oh, dear! So the vet thinks it's food poisoning? How are they treating her? Have you taken your other cat into the vet? Excessive vomiting, even without blood, is cause for alarm. Fluids may be needed for your second cat who is ill.

Prayers for both of your cats! [emoji]128591[/emoji]
