Hi! I just got a new kitten! "She's" 10 weeks old today, or so I was told. I was also told she is a girl, but a friend of mine strongly disagrees. I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction! Thanks!

It looks male to me. But I'm not the best at this. Hopefully others can give their opinions.

OK, I could go either way here :lol3:. I'm kind of leaning toward boy because the opening looks round, but not round enough that I'm 100% positive.
Try this: "spread" the area gently with your fingers (kitty molesting, oh no! :tongue2. If you can see a slit, it's a girl, if you can't, it's a boy. Also, you might be able to feel tiny testicles if it's a boy.

Looks like a boy to me too. Your kitten needs vaccines and is also of the age to be spayed/neutered, so you can ask the vet too.
Can we see a picture of the kitten's face? (not for gender purposes obviously just for fun) We love seeing kittens.
