Optimistic about Nala Ava Marie having a companion?

Clawdia hates her safe room. She meowed and cried. I took a chance and let her her out, cautious and always close by both kitty girls, they sniffed each other and then Nala came in living room with me and Clawdia went upstairs, on my bed which she's never seen before and laid down like that has always been her spot! Nala is laying down in her little spot on the love seat just ignoring Clawdia now. I hope Clawdia isn't up there pooping! I left door open to her safe room. Will she use Ava's litter box? Do cats ever share little boxes? I want both of these babies to be happy and healthy. [emoji]128571[/emoji]

Awww that is so cute that she went on your bed. It sounds like you are making good progress. They might share a litter box but you should pick up a few extra ones just in case.

I'll try to get pic of her now. Lol, she still looks dirty bc I only got half of her little furry body! Her paws are cleaner though!

That's wonderful she's on your bed!  If she was really upset, she would be under the bed. It sounds like things are going very, very well.   

Can't tell you how big a smile I have looking at her on your bed, she must feel  safe and comfortable to not be hiding. You are a beautiful person for giving her a safe and loving home

Seriously, she is very cute,  not sure how anyone could think differently 

I'm not sure she knows how to use litter box! Since she's calmed down should I take her to her litter box and just show it to her again? This could be a long night.

Both look a little unsure about this arrangement lol. This is amazing progress in such a short time frame 

The past week and half to two weeks Clawdia's been coming around I've been showing them to each other from the screen door and windows. I'm sure Nala could smell Clawdia on me and Clawdia could smell Ava Marie. I'm nervous bc I'm all by myself with 2 kitties unsure of each other! Dale's at work until Thursday. I think Clawdia peed in Nala's upstairs litter box but I'm not sure. I hope she did.....it's ok for them to share, right? If they are ok with it?

if they are willing to share a litter box there is no problem with both of them using it 

Cats share litter boxes all the time.  You will need 3 so they can use one when needed.  Make sure at least one is out in the open so there is no chance of ambushes.

I'll keep one in the open. Actually where the 2 litter boxes are there is a chance of ambushes bc I wanted to give Nala Ava Marie more privacy[emoji]128568[/emoji] And thought she'd feel secure that way.
