Hello everyone,
I took my 1 yr old kitty to vet on sunday when i saw her keep scratching her right eye which was also not as "open" as the left one. He gave an eye drop also ran some blood tests for possible infection since her lymph nodes were larger than the usual. After getting test results, he adviced that she should have antibiotic (tetraxyclin) treatment since her white cell count is high. She got her 2nd injection yesterday. And for the last 2 days she wont let me touch her lower body (keeps meowing and biting if i persist on touching) and doesnt even want to walk. She is a very playful, social and lively kitten but now keeps hiding from us. I also told about this to vet on the second day she got her injection, he did a physical exam and said she might feel sore after the injections. She did not lose her appetite, uses her litter as usual and her eye got much better but her mood is killing me... Isn't she supposed to feel better? If she is sore because of the injections, why her whole lower body is sensitive to touch? Did you have a problem like this after your kitty got injections? Thank you so much for your help.

I've never had a cat respond that way to an injection - hopefully someone with some hands-on experience will comment.  In the meantime, since I was curious,  I did a search of "injection pain in cats."  My searching skills are not the best so I only came up with one hit and in this case it was associated with an insulin shot. The symptoms sounded so much like those in your cat, however,  that I'm including the citation:  http://www.endocrinevet.info/2012/11/insulin-glargine-and-injection-pain-in.html    Most of the explanations for the pain centered around the insulin itself but there was some speculation that an underlying disorder was involved, and worth checking further.

Please let us know how she does.  I hope she's feeling better soon.

Be sure you call the vet and let him/her know what reaction your kitty is having.  This is not a normal reaction to a shot.
