Teeth out

Hiya I'm needing a little help from long term cat owners , we are new to all this looking after cats !! It's a long story from a sad start but basically what I want to know is the best food to give our cat after he's had ten teeth removed he's still in pain and has had two lots of injections and probably more tomorrow any suggestion great fully excepted

That's a lot of teeth out! I'd try a puree-style wet food with a lot of warm water added, so that it's almost broth-like. 

Yes I know but when the vet put him under for scale and polish he then seen the extent of the damage 7 of them just crumbled on extraction one nerve exposed and so much tarta and plaque on all the others , Iv tried that not interested at all but tonight he ate a whole load of cod with olive oil !! I'm a bit worried about him having a third dose of steroids anyone else had this ?
