Hi,
I noticed something black near Pumpkin's mouth today so I had a better look when she fell asleep. I'm worried about what I found. The black was a spot on her gum (she's a torbie so random pigmentation) that's being exposed by her bottom canine tooth pushing the lip up. The canine tooth isn't vertical but sideways with the tip pointing out from her mouth. I was able to move it around easily and she didn't respond as though she was in pain (I'm actually surprised I was able to open her mouth). My housemates are reacting like the tooth is really bad looking which is making me panic.
Is this just a regular loose tooth? I'm worried that she accidentally knocked it loose when she runs or jumps into things.
We have a desexing appointment for Friday if its not out by then, I'll get the vet to have a good look for me.
