My cat missing for months

I became sick on 8-10-15.  I went to the hospital.  My house cat took the time to walk outside.  I came home about four monts latter and never saw her again.  I have put food out and even talked to the local animal warrend but no luck.  Any advise would be helpful.         Edward

I am sorry that your cat is missing.  Have you posted fliers or gone door to door to your neighbors and asked about her?  Neighbors are a good place to start.  Is she possibly microchipped?
