It's been almost 4 weeks since Tony crossed Rainbow Bridge. I have an 8 x 10 picture of him on the buffet and smile at him each evening and morning. It's still almost as hard as it was the day he left us. Tony was so special to Paul and me, and we miss him so very, very much. But I am somewhat comforted by the fact that he had 10 months that he might not have had, and I know he was so happy during those months. He was super affectionate and had to always have a lap to sit in. There'll never never be another Tony. Of course we love our Angel and Tippytoes, as we have all our past Rainbow babies, but I don't think we will ever have the connection we had with Tony. He was such a gentle, loving little soul. I hope he is making the other kitties at Rainbow Bridge happy and he is healthy again.

Rest in peace my precious Tony. You will always be in our hearts.

I'm so sorry about Tony.  Losing such a special soul causes such pain.  I remember following your threads about Tony - he was really a wonderful cat and you took such good care of him.  The 8 X 10 photo is a great idea.  I used to have one of my old Wesley but lost it during a recent move and miss it so much.  Those photos help us stay in touch with our kitties at the bridge.  Tony is in your heart, too, and will always live there - a warm presence of love and joy, even though bittersweet with the loss.   I'm glad you have Angel and Tippytoes to keep you company and provide you with some comfort.

RIP dear gentle Tony.

Yes- RIP sweet Tony. He was a special cat and I also remember the threads you started about him.  I looked forward to hearing about when he was doing better and was very saddened to hear of his passing. He was a very handsome boy and will never be forgotten by any of us.

He will always love you and Paul and he will be waiting to greet you along with your other RB kitties when the time is right. You gave him really wonderful life full of love and friendship. The bond you have with him is unbreakable. Death can't touch it. It's forever.

Tony is so fortunate to have a wonderful family that  will love and remember him through eternity, I pray you find comfort in your precious memories of happier times. Those pictures we treasure so much can be so bittersweet, they bring joy by gazing on that sweet little face we loved so much, and agony when we feel the terrible loss that has torn a hole in our lives. Time is the only thing that brings us peace and heals the wound to our heart, but time goes so slowly when we suffer such a blow. Tony is at peace now knowing he will be forever held in loving hearts and that his legacy he left you will go on through the ages by passing on the love he gave you and sharing it with others. Bless you for hurting so bad from loving so much. If you listen carefully on a soft summer night,  I'm sure sweet Tony will comfort you with his gentle purrs from the lap of an angel. Take care.........

Lana, I know how you feel, as yesterday was only just a week ago Angel crossed the bridge. I just got his ashes back yesterday too. I had another good cry last night, glad he was back home with me, but not in the way I wished, & just missing him so much.  I'm glad you have the other kitties. It's hard when you're alone. I know what you mean about having that special connection with Tony. I really feel like Angel was my "soul kitty."

They will always be with us, in love & in spirit.

I would like to think that your Angel and my Tony have met at Rainbow Bridge and are enjoying each other's company. Just remember all the happy times you and Angel had and you give him a wonderful life.

Let's talk soon - maybe on a PM. We have a lot in common.

Thanks Lana, I like to think they have met & are playing together up there too!

I made 6 new pages for his scrapbook this afternoon. I posted them on his Rainbow Bridge thread. It felt good to do something creative again. It had been a while!

Thank you so much --- here is my favorite picture of Tony. It's the one I had made into an 8 x 10 and it proudly sits on our buffet. I smile at him each morning and evening and shed another tear. miss him so much. Tony loved burying himself under a blanket. This was his favorite yellow blanket.

What a sweet cuddle looking boy, I love cats that like to be under the blankets and like to be covered up and just hang out with you, our Orange and White that just crossed was the only cat that liked to be covered up, they other 3 cats we have will have no part of it and just like to sit near you, so Tony was a special boy and looks like he is in heaven in his spot.  I am glad you have a photo of him, I am still trying to find my fav one and get a good hard copy of it for when I get his ashes back so he can be next to his sister.

RIP Sweet Boy

I downloaded Tony's picture to Walgreens. An 8 x 10 cost only $3.99 and it came out just beautiful. Was ready in 24 hours.
