Question of the Day, Friday, February 12

About 6 pm

Rune usually gets home around 8ish, so dinner is often after that on days when he works. Otherwise, it's either whenever we get hungry or whenever the crock pot is done.

We eat at 5:30. My husband works until 5, I have dinner ready for when he gets home.

We usually eat around 8pm.  My DH is very rarely home before 7:30 and then he needs a chance to shower.  So we usually all sit down around 8.  If he is going to be late; I'll start the kids eating a little earlier.  

Tuesday thru Friday we eat around 5:40 or so that's when my dad gets off work as he works Tuesday thru Friday. On Mondays it's around 5. On Saturdays, it is around 5 and Sundays we eat an early meal around 4 or 4:30. If we go out to eat, it's usually around 5 or so before the big dinner rush. But of course you have to wait for drinks and your food and that takes awhile.

I live alone, so I have the luxury of rising, eating, and going to bed just when it suits my fancy.  I GENERALLY eat around 8-9 PM.  I know that sounds horribly late, but I'm generally up until 3-4 in the morning.  So it really is fairly early in my day.

We usually eat around 7. That's what time it's usually ready after we go to the gym and shower.

I tend to eat my major meal at 11 pm.  I get out of work at five, then have to be at work for 6pm at a second job, so I am really looking forward to something when I get home at 11pm.

Nope, no set time here. It's just me now, so depends on my schedule, when I'm hungry, etc..   Some days when I have worked during lunch time, (most days), I either eat a late lunch when I get home, maybe 2-2:30, so usually don't eat dinner until 7 or so. Then, some days if I have worked a little later, & just had a bar while working, then I may just go ahead & make an early dinner around 5:00 or 5:30.  It just really all depends, weather I've snacked or not etc...  Sometimes, If I get busy, or caught up on the computer longer than I plan, it has been as late as 8:00. That was last night. But I try not to eat that late. On the weekend sometimes maybe, like when I make my homemade pizza & watch a movie, I will sit down to eat when the movie is coming on. So then it may be 8:00.

We eat anytime from 8 to 10. I'd prefer earlier but it doesn't work out that way. I also go to sleep after 2am..
Don't you people eat so early get hungry?

We prefer to eat before 6:00 whenever we can. We got used to that several years ago when I was purposely trying not to eat anything after 6:00. Dinner was eaten, dishes were done, and kitchen cleaned. I'd brush and floss and that kept me from eating much of anything at night. And I lost weight. Rick was more than OK with that. Sometimes, if he's hungry for something sweet, he'll grab a bowl of cold cereal to munch on around 8:30 or so. You have to understand, too, that I'm usually in bed and sound asleep by 9:00 because the cats have me awake around 3:30 or 4:00 most mornings when they start to meow for breakfast. And on weekday mornings, Rick and I are out of bed by 4:45 because we both work.

My brother and SIL always prefer to eat earlier, too. When we go out to dinner, they prefer to eat around 4:00 or so. That's a little too early for us, but we're OK with it when we're with other people.
